What are your prices?

Pricing is found on the Services & Pricing page. Baths and Bath & Haircuts show the minimum price for the service. Many factors go into establishing price for a service, such as coat length, thickness, and condition, haircut preferences, and your pet's special needs. To get a firm quote for your first grooming, schedule a FREE no-obligation Treat & Greet session!

What is Fear Free® grooming?

Animals are at their best when they feel at ease. Fear Free® provides science-based, behavior-led strategies designed to prevent and reduce fear, anxiety, and stress in pets in different animal care contexts. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, I incorporate these strategies to ensure your pet's well-being throughout the grooming process. If your pet's fear, anxiety, or stress levels escalate despite my efforts, I will offer breaks or, if necessary, pause the grooming session altogether. I believe in prioritizing your pet's comfort over completing the job in one go, as pushing through can lead to a negative and stressful experience for your beloved pet. Do you use treats?

I aim to win dogs' hearts with positive experiences, often using small, soft treats like Bixbi Trainers. You can provide your own treats, too. While some dogs may not take treats during grooming, I like to reward them on arrival and afterward so we begin and end on a good note. You can opt out if you prefer, and I’ll respect your wishes.

How do I schedule?

Appointments are available Monday through Thursday, starting at 9 AM. You can request your appointment by text, email, or contact form. Please communicate any day/time restrictions with your initial contact and I will respond with available slots to choose from.

Can I get a weekend or evening appointment?

I offer grooming Monday through Thursday only. Under certain circumstances I may be able to accommodate an evening appointment to work around your schedule. Appointments that start at 4pm or later will be charged a $25 fee. This fee does not apply to your free Treat & Greet session.

How long will my appointment take?

Grooming session duration will vary based on your pet's grooming and behavioral needs, and I will always ensure a low-stress experience without rushing. After the first appointment, we’ll have a better idea of the time required for future sessions. Please set aside four hours for your first appointment for set up, discussion, grooming and clean up for a single dog getting a full haircut. On average, I am on site for about 3 hours once I have developed rapport with you and your pet.

What if I forget my appointment?

I have put measures in place that will help you keep from forgetting. I send a confirmation text two days before your appointmen, and I also send a text when I am on my way with an ETA. If I arrive but get no response from you within 15 minutes, a no-show fee will be charged equivalent to the price of the service booked.

Do I need to be present?

For the first visit, I ask that you be present for the entire grooming session. After that, if we’re both comfortable, you may leave once I arrive. If you choose to stay, please remain out of your pet's direct line of sight and keep quiet if they get wiggly or excited to ensure a smooth grooming experience. For safety reasons, I kindly request that young children are not present during grooming, as it can be difficult for them to stay still and quiet amidst the excitement.

Where can you work?

As long as I have good lighting, a comfortable temperature for your pet, an electrical outlet, and a clean sink for bathing, I’m all set! Most clients have me work in the kitchen or utility room. As for bathing, most dogs under 15 pounds fit well in a kitchen sink. If you prefer, I can use your laundry sink or a spacious walk-in shower with my portable elevated tub. Please note that I do not bathe dogs in a regular bathtub. I use a drop cloth to catch fallen hair and strive to leave your space just as I found it. We will discuss options in person at your Treat & Greet session.

Do you clean up after yourself?

While I strive to leave your home exactly the way I found it, it is not possible to offer a 100% no hair anywhere guarantee. Small amounts of clipped and shed hair can remain in the air for quite some time after the grooming process is finished, and may settle on nearby surfaces after I leave. This hair is clean and dry and will vacuum up readily once it settles. It can also be collected with a damp paper towel.

What if I'm unhappy with the groom?

I want you to be thrilled with your pet's grooming, but my top priority is providing a safe, low-stress experience for your furry friend. While I strive to meet your grooming preferences, there may be times when the haircut doesn’t fully match your expectations, especially if your pup is nervous or uncooperative. As I build rapport and trust with your pet, I expect the results to improve. For the best outcome, please communicate your expectations clearly and feel free to raise any concerns during the grooming process so I can make adjustments before I leave.

Do you offer a discount for multiple pets?

Yes! The first pet will be charged at full price, and you'll receive 10% off each additional pet receiving services of equal or lesser value.

What payment forms do you accept?

I accept cash and credit/debit cards. Please note that I do not accept checks. Thank you!
